Applications for scholarships from this bequest for the 2010 academic year are now being invited (see downloadable forms below). The closing date is 9am 12 November.
1. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide assistance towards the cost of tertiary studies to the daughters of full-time, paid Ordained Ministers holding office in the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.
2. The scholarships are available for any subject at tertiary level.
3. The number of scholarships is limited by the funds available and the quality of the applicants. A maximum total of $2,500 will be awarded for studies commencing in 2010.
4. Scholarships are available for up to three years and amounts are at the discretion of the Trustees.
5. They are available for study anywhere in New Zealand, Australia, Polynesia, North America and the Continent of Europe.
6. Candidates must be between 17 and 26 years of age at the time of application and produce evidence of birth and baptism, and have been resident within the boundaries of the New Zealand Anglican Church for three years. One parent must hold a Bishop's licence as a full-time, paid Ordained Minister in the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.
7. Application forms must be returned by 9am 12th November 2009 to be considered for the 2010 academic year.
